Elias is CEO, Co-Founder and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. As CEO, Elias leads the overall strategy and direction of the firm, in addition to managing all aspects of the firm’s corporate financing activities to support continued growth. As a member of the Investment Committee, Elias plays a critical role in evaluating transaction opportunities by applying the long-standing investment principles established by the firm. Prior to co-founding CODI in 1998, Elias was with CIBC Oppenheimer, Boundary Partners and Colony Capital. Elias is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Partner & Chief Operating Officer


Pat is COO, Partner and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. As COO, Pat is responsible for the financial and strategic oversight of the firm’s portfolio companies. In this role, he manages both the West and East Coast Investment Teams. As a member of the Investment Committee, Pat is responsible for evaluating all the firm’s investment opportunities. Prior to joining CODI in 2005, Pat was with Bain & Company and Deutsche Banc Alex Brown. Pat is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Columbia Business School.

Ryan Faulkingham

CFO & Executive Vice President


Ryan is CFO, Executive Vice President and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. As CFO and Co-Compliance Officer, Ryan is responsible for the firm’s financial controls, accounting and reporting, as well as risk assessment on a public company level. In addition, he manages the firms’ relationships with its capital markets partners. As a member of the Investment Committee, Ryan is responsible for evaluating all the firm’s investment opportunities. Prior to joining CODI in 2008, Ryan was with Merrill Lynch, WebMD Corporation and Arthur Anderson. Ryan is a graduate of Lehigh University and Fordham University.

Kurt Ainsworth

Marucci CEO & Co-Founder


Kurt is Co-Founder and CEO of Marucci Sports. He oversees product innovation, progressive direct to consumer sales and engaging marketing strategy. Kurt has spearheaded the growth of Marucci Sports by acquiring Marucci Bat Company as well as Victus Sports and Carpenter Trade. He secured Marucci Sports’ supply chain by acquiring two Pennsylvania wood mills to reinforce Marucci’s dominance as the #1 bat in the Major Leagues. Prior to founding Marucci, Kurt was an MLB pitcher for the San Francisco Giants and Baltimore Orioles, after playing at LSU and being drafted in the first round of the 1999 MLB draft.
